When you accept the Father's gift of salvation, you become a child of God who is now classified as a "faith son of God." Salvation is really not about sin. Sin or no sin, we all need salvation. Salvation is a spiritual gift that promotes you from being just "a child of God" to being "a faith son of God". You need this promotion in order to successfully walk with God. You receive the free gift of salvation when you wholeheartedly decide to devote your life to the divine love of God.
Concerning Jesus, it was said that: "He lived his mortal life just as all others of the human family may live theirs, “who in the days of the flesh so frequently offered up prayers and supplications, even with strong feelings and tears, to Him who is able to save from all evil, and his prayers were effective because he believed.”..." - Urantia Book 128:1.7

What is Self Mastery ?
Urantia Book 143:2.3, "Verily, verily, I say to you, he who rules his own self is greater than he who captures a city. Self-mastery is the measure of man’s moral nature and the indicator of his spiritual development..."
Man's greatest victory is the conquest of himself. (Urantia Book 131:6.2 )
Urantia Book 143:2.7, "...Your secret of the mastery of self is bound up with your faith in the indwelling spirit, which ever works by love..."
If you are operating under the law of LOVE, the perfect law of liberty, please, do yourself a favor, never allow yourself to be caged in, chained down and ramshackled by any other law. CHRIST has set you free! Walk in the power and efficacy of God's love!
